Mia is passionate about working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating life's challenges. She works with anxiety, life transitions, family and relationship dynamics, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and helping clients develop healthy coping strategies.
Mia has always been fascinated by the way the mind works and the factors that shape our thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Mia’s own life experiences have strengthened her empathy and reinforced her desire to help others feel understood, supported, and empowered as they work through their own challenges.
Mia incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based techniques to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building practical skills for lasting change. She also believes that mental and physical health are deeply interconnected and enjoys helping clients explore how movement, exercise, sleep, and overall wellness can support emotional well-being alongside therapy.
Outside of the therapy office, Mia is a licensed personal trainer who enjoys staying active and promoting overall wellness! She values maintaining a balanced lifestyle and strives to bring that same holistic perspective into her work with clients.
