Specialties

Nicole is interested in working with individuals diagnosed with ADHD or struggling with executive functioning, generalized anxiety and social anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and going through life transitions.

Nicole wanted to become a therapist since she was a teenager. She later became drawn to social work because of its emphasis on person-in-environment and systems perspective. Nicole views her role as therapist as an opportunity to use her own experiences and education to ‘pay it forward’ and help others persevere through tough times.

Why She Chose This Work

Nicole’s approach is collaborative, supportive, and flexible. She believes that each individual has their own unique strengths and struggles, and therefore creates an integrated, tailored therapeutic approach for each client. It is Nicole’s goal to create a therapeutic environment in which clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She helps clients develop coping skills and utilize their existing strengths in their journey towards change and growth.
