Charles works with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. He has extensive experience supporting individuals in recovery, including those in Medication Assisted Treatment Programs.
Charles has always believed in the importance of community and interpersonal support. His undergraduate studies in psychology led him to pursue social work at the graduate level, where the focus on behavior-in-environment and social justice deeply resonated with his values. This passion continues to drive his commitment to helping clients heal and grow.
Charles views therapy as a collaborative process built on trust, warmth, and unconditional positive regard. His style is solution-focused and blends evidence-based modalities—including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). He creates a supportive space where clients can process their experiences while building tangible skills to move forward with resilience.
Outside of the therapy room, Charles enjoys traveling, movies, board and video games, reading both fiction and non-fiction, and hiking with his dog, Cooper.
