Specialties

Maria is interested in working with adults navigating anxiety, grief, maternal mental health, and relationship challenges, and she has experience supporting individuals working through addiction. She is passionate about supporting individuals through life transitions, loss, and changes in identity and relationships.

For over seven years, she worked as a Child Life Specialist across rehabilitation, oncology, and emergency care, where she witnessed the critical need for support during life’s most difficult moments. Combined with her background in education and program development, this experience highlighted the impact of systems on individuals and deepened her commitment to advocacy. She is passionate about supporting those who feel unheard and helping individuals navigate complex challenges.

Why She Chose This Work

Maria’s approach is supportive, direct, and client-centered. She focuses on creating a space where clients feel safe to be open, while also working together to build insight and make practical changes. She tailors sessions to what each person actually needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all model.
