Nicole works with teens and adults experiencing social anxiety, generalized anxiety, OCD, ADHD, depression, substance use, and relationship challenges. She also has a particular passion for helping adolescents and young adults navigate school issues and major life transitions.
Nicole describes her style as empathetic, friendly, and warm. She builds strong therapeutic relationships by creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel seen and understood. Using a person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach, she empowers clients to recognize and embrace the strengths they already possess.
In her sessions, Nicole draws on CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and psychoeducation. For clients with OCD, she has specialized training in exposure response prevention (EXRP), considered the gold-standard treatment. Her goal is to help each client feel comfortable, supported, and confident as they process challenges and move forward.
From an early age, Nicole found herself naturally drawn to listening, supporting, and speaking up for others. She has always been fascinated by the ways thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected, and she considers it a privilege to explore those connections with her clients. For Nicole, therapy is about transformative moments—the “aha” realizations, the relief of releasing emotions, or the joy of accomplishing something you once thought impossible. She cherishes the opportunity to share those milestones with her clients.
Nicole has many creative and active interests. She loves music, theater, singing, painting, and reading, as well as hiking, going to the gym, and taking long walks
She also enjoys traveling, sightseeing, and learning about new cultures wherever she goes.
